What Battery / Charger should I get
 
Just bought a boat. What 12V battery should I get? What charger should I get?

I'd say your best bet would be to take this to "Fresh Water". This is for selling and buying items, wont get much response here.

BTW - Sears makes a very good battery. If you have alot of equipment(lights,radio,electronics etc..) on board think about 800 - 900+ amp marine battery.These are big heavy batterys.

I have 3 chargers. My best is a 2/10/60 amp. All these chargers have an automatic cycle feature. Once battery reaches full charge the charger will cycle on/off to prevent overcharge. A good multi duty charger runs about $40-50.

I can trickle charge battery for 12-16 hrs at 2 amp, or a quick 2-3 hr charge at 10 amp or a hot 60 amp jump start for my vehicles if battery craps out.
