RE: Mossberg 3006 rifle???
Yeah I saw one of these in WalMart down here for 249.95. Bolt action in 30-06. I guess if I was buying a low price rifle I would go with the Savage with the Accu-trigger for $100 more.

RE: Mossberg 3006 rifle???
Nah I would go with the Rem 710

RE: Mossberg 3006 rifle???

RE: Mossberg 3006 rifle???
I was at Wally World at lunch and the Rem. 710 combo was 289.99. Now, that's cheap! If I was going to buy a plastic rifle I might buy one of those Sako wannabes...what's that plastic gun... oh, yeah, TIKKA.:D

RE: Mossberg 3006 rifle???
What ever you do don't get a mossberg centrfire rifle. At walmart
is it black and it is a bolt action and it is $267. If it is don't get it. |
RE: Mossberg 3006 rifle???
Now I'm curious. Why? Have you used one of these? I'm not going to buy one,but I'm curious.

RE: Mossberg 3006 rifle???
I'm not saying mossberg is bad but don't get that one. First I was
going to buy one and my dad said no because it is a piece of junk. If you get a rifle get one for your money. Put it this way my dad said "To put it bluntly Mossberg 100 is crap.A 12 year old could machine a better rifle. The action is incredibly rough, finish is poor, fit is poor. I wouldn't waste my money.I hvae said before I would rather have a Remington model 710 than this rifle. For about a hundred dollars more you could get the Remington 700($379) Howa 1500/Weatherby vanguard($388),Winchester model 70, Charles Daly mauser($349 Savage 110. Any of these will serve you better than that mossberg rifle. Mossbrg makes a heak of a shotgun, but stay away from the rifle" That was from bigbulls. |
