GPS Quest

I am looking for a GPS. I will be using it for hunting and possibly for my sales territory. Does anyon have any suggestions on GPS units, Garmin? Magellan? Is it difficult to get a waypoint if there is tree cover??? I am looking to spend somewhere between 250 and 350 or 400 if the F and B are worth it. Here are the options I am looking at. Any advice?????

I used a Garmin when I worked for the USDA. It was a nice unit, but trees did interfere a little with the signal.

By the way, you might get more replies in the Hunting Gears Reviews forum. There have been several past questions there regarding GPS units. You could use the search feature to locate them.

I use a Garmin GPS III+. It and several other Garmin models let you download and display Topo's or Street Maps. Having the topo's loded into your GPS is great, especially when hunting new / unfamiliar territory. I would imagine that the street maps would come in handy for your sales territory.
