Emilio Rozzini O/U

Does anyone own an Emilio Rozzini O/U shotgun or did anyone shoot with one of these before? I'm looking for an entry O/U shotgun that will mainly be used for clay pigeon shooting.
What is your comment on this brand

Hello, Rozzini or Rizzini? If Rizzini they are top rate shotguns that are beautifully built and semi-affordable.

Now your talking a great o/U... I have a pretty darn good italian SxS that I absolutely love but my next 2 guns will be:

Benelli Montefeltro...Pheasant gun for out west shooting

Rizzini 20 ga O/U because they are beautifully made and handle like a dream..quail and grouse behind a Brittany.

Not sure if they are still imported by Sigarms or if Rizzini went to their own import scheme. Either way a beautiful gun and if you decide to purchase Good luck you have a dandy.

Go to www.shotgunworld.com and search for "Emilio Rizzini". You can learn all about the gun making Rizzini brothers and their various companies.

BlueBull if your interested in one I can find one a lot cheaper then the MSRP and prices some have on their sites. Let me know...In fact there is a dealer about 1 hour from me that has a few on the rack and he may negotiate a price

oldelkhunter,

many thanks for your help and effort. The only problem is that I am a few hours away from you . . . . in South Africa! The local price for the entry level model is around $2000 (R12000)! With all the paperwork, import tax and hassle if something needs to be repaired, I'll have to buy the gun here.

After your comment on the quality and handling I'm VERY tempted to buy one. First have to get around the wife to buy a second gun in a short time - bought the Weatherby SVR 222-50 a month ago. Can't wait to shoot it once the licence is approved

Thanks anyway!
