RE: Which guns to collect?

Like the others have asked, what do you like????

If i was going to start a "modern" collection today, it would be S&W revolvers from the 60's, 70's, and early 80's...

Right now i'm going to say that a collection of every style of the "K" frame would be good!! Lots of them around, and some models are getting rare... Also S&W has now quit makeing "K" frame guns, so there you go!!

Start learning right now what to look for and for "deals", and start buying!!! Best part is, the ones you find in nice used condition, you can keep on shooting and it won't hurt the value any as long as you take care of them.

Every S&W revolver i've bought from 1970 on is now worth a LOT more than i paid for it!!!!

Definately stay away from A-5s....compelely useless peices of junk. Leave the market purging to me and bigcountry:D:D

Here's what I would do. 1. stay with the respected name. 2. buy aesthetically pleasing guns (to you) and 3. just focus on "rounding out" your collection of different calibers. Handgunds, rifle, shotguns; bolts, breaks, auto, revolvers. Besides that vague outline I've gotta echo what everyone else has said. When you see a gun that gives you a flirtatious wink and feel good when you hold her, TAKE HER HOME!! ....and lock her up (lol....there's my attempt at humor, take it or leave it)
