hey does anybody got any good or bad comments on the .223 CZ 527 varmint gun.

I don't own a CZ, but I do have a .223. I would say 300 yds. is a good range for most guns in that caliber. They shoot nice and flat to there, then start to drop a little quicker. With the right ammo, my .223 will shoot half inch groups at 100.

By the way, yotes101, I notice your fairly new here, so welcome to the boards. I noticed your other post here didn't get a lot of responses. Don't worry. Sometimes it takes a while for answers to start coming in.

I have a cz and its a fine gun , but , if I was looking for what you want , Id be looking at savage first , and if you dont like those , Id be looking at tika .

the .223 is a good caliber gun but if you want a good varmit gun go with a .22-250 ive coyote hunted with mine for three years now and can hit a quarter at 400 yards with it!

The 22-250 and the 223 are pretty comparable. The 223 is more popular because the rounds are much cheaper.
