I like my 10/22 but love my buck mark target.I recommend you go and hold the marlin model 60,ruger 10/22 and the browning buck mark target .Then decide which fits you best and buy it, they are all great guns.I've owned all 3 and still have the ruger and browning.

Whats the Buckmark go for? I love my Buckmark Pistol, but I will more than likely end up buying a 10/22

Watch gunbroker.com to find good deals on them.I just picked up mine for $335 with the target bull barrel and gray laminate stock.normally they are Over $400.I have a 10/22 but love the buckmark,it come up to shoulder nice and on target quick. It feels more comfortable to aim campaired to the 10/22.I thought the the 10/22 was the best thing going till I picked up a buckmark and held it.

I definitely like the way that a Buckmark feels, do you need to go through a dealer to buy off of gunbrokers.com?

You need to find one local to you to do transfer Unless the person is close to you (same state)that is selling it,you would be able to do face to face but would more than likely pay tax.You can find them here just type in your zip code andd pick one.

The guy I have do mine works out of his house and charges $15 for transfer. You have to have dealer send ink signed copy of his FFL to person you purchase from.

This looks like the cheapest one at the moment it's new

Yeah, my old High School Spanish teacher is a licensed gun dealer and I think he charges around $10 to $20 per transfer, I'll have to give him a call.

$400 isn't too bad, but I would rather have open sights.

Here some with open sights but I've heard the bull barrels are more accurate

Another one for the Ruger 10/22. Mine in Stainless with silver 3x9 scope and butler creek stainless folding stock. GREAT GUN. I also picked up several 30 mags recently. Doesn't like Blazer ammo, but shoots Wildcat and Remington ammo just fine. My two brothers own the Ruger also. The other .22 I would recommend would be a Marlin.
