Not getting enough answers to this exact question in the Guns Forum, Q?

Please follow the forum rules and ask your question once, and only once, in the most appropriate forum. Spamming is obnoxious.

Oh by the way I like the Rem 700 bolt guns for the .223 and 22-250.
Other good ones are the Ruger Varmiter and the Savage.

I'd go with a T/C Encore. They aren't the cheapest but the versatility is amazing, what other gun can you turn into a pistol, a shotgun or a blackpowder rifel, in addition to about any centerfire rifle cartridge you want.

11. No spamming; do not post the same message in every topic with different titles, but with the same message. Only post your message into the topic it most relates too.

Pretty cut and dryed to me. I guess the rules don't really apply to you then, eh? I wonder if the mods agree?

And while I was, perhaps, being a little harsh, my post was meant to inform a new poster of the rules that he obviously didn't bother to read before he logged on one day and ended up scratching his head wondering where half his spammed posts went to.

I did the samething I posted it in 3 other spots on this forum cause no one was ansewring.
Maybe if you followed the rules and posted the thread in the most appropriate forum you'd have gotten the answers you were looking for, but that would require you to formulate an intelligent thought.

yes, the 22-250 is more powerful than the 223. They both use the same 22cal bullet, but the casing of the 22-250 is larger and holds more volume of powder.

Rule
Do not engage in "flame-wars" or excessive exchange of confrontational postings. Debate is important, but users should not try to "pick a fight."

Stupidity to you. That sure doesn't make you the "rule". Arrogance and stupidy go hand in hand.

RE: .223

The 22-250 is the most powerful of the two with the new 223 WSSM edging out both of the older offerings. The 223 NEF rifle is a very good one and ver accurate if you don't mind a single shot.

bigcountry 01-14-2005 04:43 PM

RE: .223

You know you asked about the 223, which by the way is my second favorite caliber but I bought my brother a 204 Remington BDL 700 for 397 dollar a few months ago. Well, I sighted it in. No breakin cause he said he didn't care much about that. And if he don't care, I don't.

And thats the best little shooting gun I have seen. I was getting .75MOA accuracy and its flatter than a 22-250 I noticed. I was 1.2" high at 100 and was hitting almost dead on at 200.

Only issue is feeding. The shells have to be in just right.

RE: .223

The "stupidity" comment was not directed at anything in this thread. You know what I'm talking about. Perhaps I've been a little too rash with come people, a little too quick to pounce. I will try to be more mindful of this in the future (unless someone really deserves it ;) ).
