308 stock and barrel
 

I have a Austrian Mauser (308) and am looking at getting a new stock and barrel. I am looking for a heavier barrel and either a synthetic or laminate stock. I have no idea what brand, or type (synthetic or laminate) stock is best. Also dont know what type of barrel to get (brand, lenght, twist, etc.) Any info you guys have would be great. Not looking to spend a whole lot of money, but dont want to go too cheap either.

I am mainly just going to target shoot (live in shotgun only state), but want to try elk and moose hunting as well. So I want something that is going to be very accurate.
