Marlin isn't new but the caliber is.

from my experience with marlin semi autos, I think i would just wait till ruger comes out with their semi auto 17 HM2. you know if marlin has it ruger is not to far behind, Im at the shot show all weekend Ill see if i can find out if or when ruger will have a 17 HM2 in a semi auto.
