Charles Daly Shotguns

Anybody had any experience with Charles Daly shotguns? I just started shooting trap and need either a semi-auto or an over under. Wally World has the Charles Daly semi-auto for $300 and a Fousti over under for $500. Which would you buy? I'm shooting pretty well with my old Remington 870 but at a real disadvantage for doubles.

I have a 28" syn stocked Charles Daly 3" auto it has had several thousand rnds through it . It seams to be holding up ok. I have broken the bolt handle . When I called to get a new one ( they sent 2 for free) they told me to not slowly close the bolt but to let it close on its own . On firing the bolt handle can be stressed by the handle not being in the right place? I have fired 2-3 thousand since and not had a problem.
The Rem chokes you have will fit the charles daly

Thanks for letting me know about the chokes. It was a synthetic stocked gun also. I am kind of leaning that way. I'm having a hard time justifiying spending more for a shotgun then I did for my deer rifle.

WW I have two CDs and so far so good. No problems in either my 20g or 12g. I understand warranties have changed with ownership switch. Good gun for the money. Gary
