sears shotguns
 

i have a sears model 200 12 ga shotgun that my dad bought for me over 40 years ago can anyone tell me the make of the gun some have said that its a savage and others have said that its a winchester how do you tell the difference? thanks

The Sears Ted Williams 200 shotguns were either a Winchester 1200 and 1300 model. Components are identical. I have a 30+ year old Sears Ted Williams in 20g and my buddy has a 12g, he did the research for a new barrel, same as the Win 1200 and 1300. These were made by US Repeating Arms (Winchester). Plain wood stock with squared forend slide.

thanks the one i have has vent rib on the barrel and checkering on the stock just a different model i have had it so long i was thinking about getting a new barrel the one i have now has a adjustable choke and it does not shoot very good patterns now. its just something that i am going to keep since i killed my 1st deer with it when i was 12 thanks again

I have in the safe a Mod. 61 J.C. Higgins I bought at Sears and Roebuck years ago and it is made by HighStandard....

nc bearhunter, try Nunrich ARMS list on the internet.
You will see a SEARS number on the barrel. {example-581.61 or what ever your number is?}.
Follow the SEARS list on that page. IT might be there.
It also tells you what parts intrechange....

Try NUNRICH ARMS on the internet. It even shows you parts that interchange.

Hello nc bearhunter,
Sears sold 2 mods of that number.
1. Sears Mod 200=Winchester 1200.
2. Sears Mod 200=Mossberg G4.
They dropped Winchester but continued Sears Mod 200 with Mossberg.Thats all I could find,Sorry!

The sight I posted has the same size cross referrence,And it's not nunrich it's NUMRICH.I just took him directly to info relating to what he was looking for.
