RE: NEF huntsman or sidekick muzzleloader???
My dad has the huntsman and we started sighting it in about a month ago. Pretty nice gun for the money. I like my T/C Black Diamond XR. Mine will out shoot his, but it cost twice as much and is pain to clean. The huntsman is very easy to clean. For the money, you can't go wrong.
PS....Don't even think about the Beartooth Magnum. Friend has one and it is a turd.[:'(] |
RE: NEF huntsman or sidekick muzzleloader???
The huntsman can shoot up to 100grs of powder and the barrel can be interchanged with several rifle barrels. The sidekick can handle up to 150 grs of powder but, you can't interchange barrels .The sidekick is classified a Muzzle loader and can be bought without the back ground check. The huntsman is classified a rifle because of the interchangable barrels and has to have all the paper work.

RE: NEF huntsman or sidekick muzzleloader???
I have not had any of the muzzle loaders from NEF but I hang around on an NEF talk site and they have a good reputation with those guys. I am going to get one soon.
