Savage Striker

I have a guy that is willing to sell me a Savage Striker Model 516 in 260 REM. for a very good price. My question is what kinda of range can I expect from the 14in barrel. I plan on using it on whitetails here in Kentucky, so max shot would be 200yds. I plan on using the 139gr. SST by Hornady.

I used 1 in 308 this spring for coyotes , the gun and load should be up to it . Practice practice practice and have fun

Picked up my striker this morning.. I love it. Hardly has any kick and is the most accurate gun that I've shot in awhile. Using factory core lokt at 140gr. I was shooting 1.25in groups at 100yds. I loaded up about dozen 139gr. SST's and my group went down to .75 at 100yds. I love this gun.
