The SRH in any caliber is a fine revolver!! I've had them in 44mag and 480 and they both shot great for a revolver. I took 4 deer with the 44 and 2 with the 480. If I had not gotten hooked on T/C's, I'd still be hunting with the SRH. If I had plenty of money, I'd still be hunting with both the SRH and the T/C's too, but thats certainly not the case.lol Good luck with your Ruger!!
