Benelli Nova Recoil Reducer

I was wondering if it really worked. I mean the does it take away teh recoil that good. I was wondering what you guys thought...

I have one and it does reduce the recoil just because it adds a pound to the gun between the recoil reducer and the bracket. I shoot 3.5" shells for waterfowl and turkey so every little bit helps.
