Buying an NEF 223...which one?
I'm leaning toward the Survivor, but just because I like the way it looks.:) The standard Handi Rifle would be the same gun but for the stock, but it would save me a few bucks. What do you think?

I like the varmit rifle with the bull barrel .I have it in a .243 and love it . very good accuracy . Only problem with the rifle is the ejector sticks every now and ten but for $200.00 how can you complain.

Dan...Mine stuck too when I first got it. I changed to Black Hills ammo, and I make sure to clean the junk out of the ejector...and have not had one problem since.
I thoroughly enjoy my Handi-Rifle. |

I keep mine clean but I use hornaday rounds and my reloads .It really isnt that bad but the first time it happened I had a hard time getting it out with my cleaning rod.

I had a handi rifle in 30-06, should have never sold it. I want another one, but not sure what caliber to get. I noticed on their website the other day that they are chambering them in the .204 ruger that may be the one i get. I am also leaning toward the 25-06 or 7mm-08. For the money they are hard to beat, they come up and point so easy. I highly recommend one.

I just went to Wally World, and they can order the NEF Survivor in .223 for $199.95. I guess I'm going to go for it. It's only $15 more than the Handi Rifle, and it comes with a strap.

I've surfed some NEF discussion boards, and guys realy boast about their gun's performance. I don't think I'll be sorry. Plus, by next season, I should have a 12 g turkey barrel, .270, and a 30-06 barrels, and maybe for kicks, a 50 cal ML barrel for it too. All for under $400!
