I have a 3" 12 gau 28" syn
20 gau 28" syn
28 gau 26" syn I love all 3 .They are light . The 12 and 20 take REM chokes. I have put 3000-4000 rnd thru the 12 ducks geese doves sporting glays and just had to clean it . Just got the 28 only put 500-600 rnds thru it so far skeet ,blackbirds and can't wait for dove season. The 20 is a joy in the pheasant field to carry .

Hello, a good shooting buddy and fellow Marine purchased a Charles Daily 1911 Style .45 ACP pistol in 1997. He has been shooting with me twice a week since he bought the gun. It has held up just as well as my Springfield and Kimber. The gun has never failed him through thousands of rounds. His gun does feel lighter and a little "looser" than the big name guns I bought but it seems that he has achieved the best bang for the buck so to say.

Not sure if you were interested in the rifles, shotguns, handguns? I closely examined a C.D. autoloader shotgun and was impressed with it's quality, reminded me of a Beretta.

From what I've been hearing, the 12 guages hold up alright for about a year and it quickly goes downhill from there. However it appears the smaller guages are fairly solid guns. I'm talking about the semi's of coarse, personally, I wouldn't waste my money on one. What are you plannining on using it for?

I have a Charles Daly Superior II O/U in 20 ga that I've been shooting for 30 years. I've put thousands of rounds thru it and the only problem I've ever had has been the lower firing pin has broke a couple times. I believe the company has changed hands and now are producing less expensive firearms. One of the fellows on my skeet team bought one around a year ago. It functioned fine for the first 6 months or so and then he started to have problems. Granted, we put alot of shot down the tubes. The latest problem is the gun will eject the empty AND the next loaded shell, both. Can't figure that one out, but it does it every other time on doubles. They might hole up well as a 'normal' hunting shotgun, but I don't think I'd buy one for hard use. My $.02 worth.

Sorry. I should have added that the gun my buddy bought is NOT the O/U, but the auto-loader.

when i was looking for a trap gun in 20 i looked at a charels daly but i heard they don't hold up so i got a remington 11-87 never have had a prob. with it
