Weaver Scopes
 

I was hoping some one could inform me, I was looking for a stright power 4x scope to put on my lever action ( BLR 308), I like to buy american made products, I thought that weaver was made in the US, now i am not sure, are they ? were they? I found a K4 on ebay and it said made in the US, the price was really cheap ($32). I have a leupold on my bolt action but didnt want to spend that much money right now, so i figured a good used scope would be the way to go. Any input would be appreciated...

I believe the Weaver's are still Made in the USA.If you can get a K4 for 32.00 grab it. In the Midsouth catalog the K4's are 126.75.I bought a Weaver V24 a couple years ago(from Natchez SS.).It appears to be a well made scope.I did find though on higher powers the clarity isn't the best.Watch those deals on Ebay.You might be bidding on a scope ready for the scrap yard.Buyer beware

Thanks, i know about the buyer beware..it comes with rings too...now if it had a base...
