I just acquired a Savage 110FP in 25-06. The accutrigger is really neat.

I have a couple pre-accutrigger Savages. Had the triggers reworked by a gunsmith. They are now much lighter and very crisp.

deerslayer - I was curious about this too and went to google and found a lot of info on Savage's new Accu-trigger. Everyone is raving about it. I checked one out at the local gun shop and was impressed. It seems like it would take a bit getting used to (taking up the slack) but nothing I couldn't overcome. I really like it. My friend just ordered a 111F today with the accu-trigger.
I read where the varmint and military models have a range of 1.5 - 6 lbs and the sporter models go 2.5 - 6 lbs. They also have some type of stop limit on the set screw so you can't go any lighter than these limits. The articles I read also say that even with this light pull, the rifle won't go off if dropped on the butt. I guess the little extension on the trigger acts like a transfer bar and must be depressed to fire the rifle.

It's an improvement on most lawyer rigged triggers as it comes from the factory. It is no match for a properly adjusted Remington or WInchester trigger. You as the owner of this new savage are paying extra for it(trigger) are you not?

Just bought a 308 model 11FXP3 (package deal) with accu-trigger. I am in love with this trigger. Have not changed the factory setting, but the zero travel after you take in the pre trigger is a dream. The Simmons scope will be replaced with something better.

just saw one at the local gunshop in .204 and LOVED it. wish i had the $525 they were asking. i'd be even happier if it had a detachable magazine
