Pistol-Grip Stock for Mossberg 835?
 

I would like to mount a pistol grip stock on my turkey shotgun - a Mossberg 835. I got the idea from the Benelli sold with the same type of arrangement. I was cruising the the Net and see the tactical stocks with the shoulder stock with pistol grip advertised for Mossberg 500s, but none for the 835. I don't have a 500 to compare with - are the receivers different? Or could a gunsmith adapt an aftermarket pistol-grip stock for the 835? I'd appreciate any input. Thanks!

I've had a pistol grip stock on my 835 since 1994! For Deer or turkey it can't be beat for a nice steady hold. For upland or duck shooting however it doesn't lend itself to quickly mounting to your shoulder. That said, the Moss. 500 & 835 stocks are interchangeable. Just go to the mossberg.com website to verify.
