Red Dot Scope

I purchased a red dot scope for my super redhawk 44 mag and really like the scope. Thinking of putting one on a overunder 222 and 12 guage. Has anyone tried this combo. Also have a moseburg 835 and thing of one on it for spring gobbler season. What are your feelings on the red dot for these weapons and what brand do you like
thanks

i bought a red dot for my mossberg 500. Have yet to try it but it looks like it will work real well. Only thing you will have to get used in NO magification. Mine is just a pass thru type of red dot. I think i have a simmons (i think) but i am looking forward to trying it.

I purchased a Mueller Red Dot Scope for my 06 Rifle and love it. Its a new company and they have a great product/price.

There working on a red dot shotgun scope and I will be first in line.

Putting a red-dot on your O/U will limit your range of the 222. As for the 835, they seem to have some serious recoil, so I'd go with the Leupold Gilmore. I used to have a Gilmore on a 454 Encore pistol barrel and it took the recoil in stride. The Leupie's a little more cash, but I think its worth it.
