new ruger pistol?
 

Has Ruger come out with a new model of pistol in 22 cal ? i know of the 17 single six and updated bearcat. But someone said they were coming out with a different revolver. They couldn't tell me if it was single or double action.

Not to change the subject and I'm not much on semi-autos. But rugers 22/45 pistol is one shooting little gun. Very accurate, feeds superb, and is easy to take down and clean. It cost just over $200. For the money it's the best 22cal pistol I've shot.

I haven't heard of one. I go to a couple different Ruger sites and haven't read anything mentioned there.With Ruger you never know what they'll come out with next. You might have in mind the 40th Anniversary model of the 10/22. I know you said handgun but the 40th 10/22 is the only new thing I've heard about lately.This year's 10/22 magazines will be marked 40th also.

Over at graybeard outdoors somebody said ruger was going to make a super-single six hunter model. With the same scope rail setup and rings like the 44.and in 22-22mag and 17 caliber. I hope it's true, I could really go for that.:D Just wondered if anyone else heard such a thing.

Well it is true about the pistol. I found it on ruger's web site under firearm news. Late march it is supposed to be out. That could turn in to longer if you go by the history of such things.Looks to be a nice spring after all.:D

I got one of those a few years ago, excellent little handgun. The best part about mine is it's accurate with the inexpensive Rem. Cyclone ammo and you just gotta love that.
