BHC is correct.I asked the same question to Leupold a few years back.Yes it can be used on a BP rifle without damage. Many don't know this. A regular scope on a air rifle will be damaged by the recoil.This is not a joke.Something to do with pull instead of push recoil that tears them up.When I heard this some time back I thought they were pulling my leg. I checked and the were correct.Learn something new everyday.

i have a tasco 3x9x50 world class on my lk-93 knight and have had no problems once sighted in.
