Mossberg 935
Anyone have any input on the new 935 ? I am seriously considering one this spring.

RE: Mossberg 935
I was able to take a tour of the Mossberg factory here in CT last fall. The 935 is one sweet-looking gun. And for the price, it can't be beat. However, I don't think it allows for interchangeable barrels. Everything I have heard about the gun has been positive though. I also look forward to hearing what other people have to say about it.

I'll try to post up some liks for you.

RE: Mossberg 935
Hopefully it turns out better then their 9200 which turned out to be the biggest piece of Cr@p ever even worse then the POS Remington 1100. I'm gonna wait for the 935 to be out for awhile before I decide to buy one. I'm thinking of getting another semi auto shotgun but my 835 is the the most reliable shotgun I own, one tough gun too, a little mud or water in the action and it shoots and functions fine cant say the same for any of my auto loaders.

RE: Mossberg 935
I bought a 935 in early may after years of great experience with my 835. Soild gun! Wouldn't shoot 2 3/4 shells until I put 400 rounds through it and sometimes coughs on them now. No problem for me though as I NEVER shoot 2 3/4 inch shells when hunting. Have put over 700 3 and 3 1/2 rounds through this gun so far without a problem (other than a sore shoulder!).
I own Rems and Winchesters and haven't shot one of them since I bought this gun. Patterns great, kills skeet dead, and if I drop it in the mud or need a boat paddle I don't mind a scratch or two. For what its worth.... |
RE: Mossberg 935
Took my Brand new 935 out for Goose today first time hunting with it.
nailed a goose with my first shot, unfortunatly it didnt die went to fire a second round through it and the shell jammed in the barrel, now i was using Winchester size 2 3.5" Shells trying every thing i could think of to get my gun unjamed to pump a second round into my now wounded swimming away goose i removed my barrel while my buddy started rowing toward it I got the jammed shell out of the reciever and just as i grabbed my barrel to reinstall it the barrel falls in the water! to make a long story short i we wound up loosing our goose and my barrel A thing like this could only happen to me!!!! My advice to you is if you buy one dont use any 3.5" Winchester shells in it they SUCK ASS in this gun!! come to think of it my mossberg 500 dosent like to eject any Winchester shells either. |

RE: Mossberg 935
my 9200 has worked better than any semi i have owned. i sold my 1187 which didnt like some ammo. my mossberg would always spit out bird shot to buck shot in any order and never needed much as far as cleaning. i would give it the thumbs up;)
