winchester model 70 super shadow?
 

hey i am looking into gettin my first rifle. i really dont know anything about them. i was looking at the rem model 700 and the winchester model 70. i also saw the model 70 super shadow. is the super shadow worth the extra money over the regular model 70? thanks

The super shadow is a budget gun, msrp 543. Wal-mart carries them for $389.99. I love model 70's and the range reports ive seen from the wsm supershadows was great. The walmart super shadows will come with a scope that isnt the best but should work till u can afford a better one. If your getting the supershadow for deer hunting and maybe elk or moose in the future, look no futher than the 270wsm. The 130gr are easy to shoot and potent enough for any whitetail. Federal is loading several new premium wsm loads this year.

Just bought that gun from Wal-mart. Very happy with the winchester model 70 shadow. I got it in the 30.06.. Love it so far.

If the Super Shadow is as good as its cousin the Black Shadow, it is a great gun for the money. Or for any money for that matter! With a little trigger work my Black Shadow is giving me one inch groups!
