RE: BEST VARMIT RIFLE IN 223 CALIBER

Here we go another vote for savage , I've got a 110 in 243 and though its not reel pretty , it is the most accurate gun I own , now if it had the new triger they put on um this year it would be outstanding . My other choice would be a handy rifel from H@R , again for function . Gun and ammo mag did a test last year and that gun came out on top , even beat a sako .

If I were you, I would give serious consideration to the Ruger M77VT MkII varmint rifle with the laminated stock and target grey stainless barrel and action. Matching stainless scope rings come with it also. This is as good a varmint rifle per dollar spent as you can get. They will shoot with any other make of gun especially if you handload your own ammo. These guns are the best value out there in a varmint rifle in my opinion. The best 3 shot group @ 100 yds. with my VT in .223 measured .331". Not too shabby for an out of the box Ruger!

only my thoughts but with the manufactures listed, no doubt about....the Remington 40 X series of centerfires are the best of the bunch. While expensive, they offer gauranteed accuracy, better overall quality and better trade in value. With the other makes, you might get a good one and you might not.
