westernfield
 
i have an old pump 22 westernfield and was wondering if it has anycollectors value or not. the only writing on it is westernfield.

I believe the Westernfield's were marketed and sold by Montgomery Ward. These guns, while shooters, were typically made by Savage, Mossberg, Springfield etc. and were of the lower grades. I doubt that there is any collector value on your 22 but that shouldnt stop you from using it.

I also think it was Montgomery Ward who sold the Westernfields.I agree with Double A about collectors value.More shooters then collectors.

I too have a Westernfield semi-auto .22. I did a littel research and found that Montgomery Ward did sell these guns and they were manufactured by either Mossberg and Savage especially for Montgomery Ward.

They have little collectable value, but are darn good shooters!
