RE: Ruger question

Stubble Jumper question for you, does Ruger make a 7mm STW? If they do how much did yours cost?

RE: Ruger question

Your question was answered already about the glass bedding.I won't go into that. The Ruger M-77's for the most part are accurate rifles. In most cases the trigger does need to be lighten thanks to all the hungry lawyers.I have no experience with the 280 cartridge.I have M-77's in different calibers and have been more then satisfied with all of them. My favorite deer rifles are my M-77 All Weather in 7mm Rem Mag or my Rem 700 in .270. If you want a good rifle at a reasonable price the Ruger is the way to go.Have a trigger job done and you'll be set for many years to come.As far as the twist of the barrel. My opinion is these gun manufacturers being Ruger or any other spend allot of time researching these calibers and what works best.Good luck when you get your Ruger 280.

Ol'e Ruger Redhawk owning a Ruger ,now that's hard to believe. I guess you could say I've dabbled in a few of them. For some Un- Godly unknown reason I've gotten a Ruger reputation. Why would you have gotten that impression is beyond me.LOL.

After hearing about the "OTHER" rifle you just bought. I wonder if you can still be considered an authority on Rugers rifles? Traitor! LOL

F4YG Oh No not a Traitor . Authority on Ruger's. I'm a long ways from being a Ruger authority but I'm working on it.
Actually the real reason I bought a different make was to do a test.I wanted to see how my Ruger's would integrate with different breds. Things don't look very promising to say the least. LOL.It's going to take time to make them comfortable with others. HeHeHe

Nope! no cross breeding in my safe.I've taught my Ruger's to be selective who they mingle with. Plus they won't lower there standards for a one night stand LOL.
