6mm Remgington 7600?
Hey guys,
I just bought a Remington 7600 in 6mm. It has a Redfield 4-12 scope on it and is is in wonderful condition. I pad 400 bucks for it, is this about right? Has anyone else seen one in 6mm? I never have but love the guns it is my 3rd, it looks nice sitting next to my 7600 30-06 carbine, and .35 whelen. I didn' t know if anyone had ever saw one. Shoot Straight! Kyle |

The Remington Pump has been chambered in almost every popular caliber at one time or another. Its now chambered in 243, 308, 370, and 30-06. I have seen them in 257 Robert 35 Whelen 300 Savage 280 and many obsolete calibers as well.

RE: 6mm Remgington 7600?
Kyle, I've owned a Remington 7600 pump in 6MM for 15 years now and it's one of the sweetest shooting guns I own. I've only every shot the 100 grain Remington Core Lokt through it, but they do the job. I once killed a crow in a corn field at 240 yards with it. That's tough to beat! ;)

RE: 6mm Remgington 7600?
Every year or so Remington produces two "off" calibers in the 7600. This year it's the 25-06 and .35, others have been the .260 and 6mm. These rifles are usually hard to get hold of. As for the price if that included scope, you got a great deal. I bought one in the .25-06 this year and paid about $550 for just the gun. Of course Remington produces the old standbys like .270, .30-06, .308 i think, & .280, possibly .243 every year in the 7600.
