Shot gun is stuck
 

My boy has a Mossberg 12 gauge shotgun. He was moving the pump action and it is now stuck in the open position. How do I fix it?

IT COULD BE AS SIMPLE AS THE BARREL NOT SET IN THE RECIVER, OR IT COULD BE THE EJECTORS

I believe it' s the ejectors. They don' t look right to me but I don' t know how to fix it. I' ve tried to take the barrel off but can' t so I think it' s seated correctly.

You should be able to take the barrel off. I would try and take it off then reseat it and put it back on. Sometimes the ejectors jam inside. Can you see if they are jammed?

Try taking the action apart and cleaning it. You will also find anything that is broken.

I guess you won' t be able to if the action is suck open.

Just a quick update. I took it to gunsmith #1 and he fixed it but then I started having problems with it pulling the shells out of the magazine. Gunsmith #2 said it was my selection of shells. Inexpensive Walmart brand. I changed brands and haven't had any problems since.
