New to me Encore

I just picked up a T/C Encore Prohunter pistol in .243 Win. I removed the iron sights and installed a Bushnell 2-6x scope on it. Now I'm looking for a sling system for it. Anyone have any ideas? I used to have a sling set up on my Contender years ago. But that had the wooden grips with the rubber insert. This one has an all rubber grip.

I’m guessing you have the factory rubber grip and forend. Cheap things don’t even have an option for sling studs. I highly recommend the Pachmayr grip/forend set. The soft rubber on the back of the grip really helps mitigate recoil, and they come with standard sling studs.

Try to find one with swivel studs. Everyone that has them the price is crazy and those at a decent price are out of stock. Doing some searching T/C did make a swivel stud kit #9703 for the Encore and Prohunter. But I can't find one anywhere.

OK - If I can remember! I may bring it up during the early ML season. The last 2 days us seniors can use a CF. But I really want to bust one with my .58 ML (and maybe a bear too)
