Default Weatherby Vanguard Sporter .300 Win Mag

Picked up a Weatherby Vanguard sporter as part of a trade. Wood looks really good. Trigger feels really good. Haven't shot it yet. But will try to do that sometime soon here and get some photos posted.

I really have no use for a .300 win mag, so I'll probably look to re-home it eventually or trade it for something else. But, since I've never had a Weathebry I figured I'd put some rounds down range before deciding.

Maybe it'll grow on me.

Here's a few quick photos I took when I brought it home, hopefully they attached properly.

the vangards are generally very accurate, I owned one for decades in 300 win mag , mine had its best accuracy
consistently under 1" 5 shot 100 yard groups ,with speer 165 grain

h4831 and fed 215 primers

its not nearly a mark V but its still a good rifle
I gave it to one of my sons who still uses it for mule deer.
