Remington new "adj" trigger

Well I decided to mess with trigger on my new cdl 7mm-08... Well it was factory set at 3.5# and that was as low as it would go :s14:

Anyhow it's really not bad throw it feels great and shoots good... I really wouldn't want to drop it much less than that for deer hunting rifle anyhow!!!

I decided to take it out today and just take a shot with it at 50 yards to see were point of Impact is at 50... I like to shoot deer in the neck to save those shoulders!!!

50 yards was dead on!!! Right in the bull...

I really like this gun!!! But I'm sure you guys already realized that lol

I put a 1-3 lb. Rifle Basix in mine. Got it set at just a tad under 3 lbs. Don't want a hunting rifle trigger any lower than that..

I haven't seen this new Remington trigger. The old ones were adjusted just like you would a Timney or a Kimber. Easy to do and no limitations except what you considered safe.
How many screws on the new ones ?

I'm no expert on triggers but from what I can tell it has one adj screw right in the trigger it self...

There is 2 screws on them. You'd have to take the stock off to set it. http://www.erniethegunsmith.com/ This were i bought softer springs for my 6br when i had it built, it's really nice to were i haven't bought a aftermarket for it yet. FYI, The 2nd screw takes up the creep and makes it break really crisp for a factory.

***IMHO that's actually a little lower than I think a hunting rifle should be for real safety and still good. Mine are around 3 1/2 to 4#.

My Model 7 let's go at 1.75 but I'm the only one who handles that rifle. I wouldn't loan it out to anyone with it set like that.
It's great for shooting running jacks and coyotes.

All my rifles are set at 3lbs.

I don't own any non-hunting rifles. LOL
