500 slugster
 

Anyone have the mossberg 500 slugster in 20 ga? Do you shoot Iron sights ,red dot, scope? what kind of success have you had? I have a truglo red dot scope and can't hit the side of a barn. What sabots do you like, or better yet does the gun like?Any help would be appreciated.Thanks:

yes I have one with the rifled cantilever barrel with a Bushnell Trophy 3-9x40 using Remington AccuTip 3", shoots very well for such a inexpensive shotgun, but I don't use it I have it for a back up or to let friends/family to use

I have both the 12 and 20 Trophy slugsters with Cantilever mounts and Burris scopes. I let friends use the 12 and my son shoots the 20 exclusively. I will never shoot a 12 ga slug gun outside my work again if I have it my way. My 20 is ported and shoots Federal Barnes Expanders 3" touching at 75yds and inside 2" at 100. All 5. I use a 50cal in line and 460 S&W for firearm deer season.
