Exclamation Anyone ever had experience with Prvi Partizan ammuntion?

Looking to get some for my 300 win mag mainly because it is cheap I don't reload and am on a budget, anyone have any experience with this manufacturer? Sorry if this is the wrong category it just seemed like the right place and I've only posted on this forum once before

Thanks and happy shooting

I'm not sure, but that may be the same as the Monarch ammunition (red box) that I buy at Academy Sporting Goods. I know that is made in Serbia. I have run a couple of boxes of .40 S&W through my PX4 with no malfunctions and it is accurate enough. I have a couple of boxes of .243 and .270 I have yet to try out.

I picked up 3 boxes of 7-08 for my wife to mess with. It shot well out of her Ruger Compact, and took a doe last fall. It was ok!!!

Their 9mm ammo was very dirty but functioned fine.

They've been producing commercial and military ammo for a LONG time. I've had very good luck with their cheap stuff, though at times it is dirty. Their reloadable brass is good and some of the nicer hunting ammo has been darn accurate in a few of my guns.

I have some SP spitzer 7 X 57 from their factory in Serbia that is at least 25 years old and it prints pretty good out of my old Steyr 1903.

Default The Good:

My son's deer rifle is a Rem 700P LTR in 308 with McMillan stock added and a trigger adjustment.

Here's a look at a sight-in target he shot getting ready for a silhouette match:

PS: Factory 165 Prvi ammo!!!

Default The Bad:

Now on the other hand - I have had a bad experience with a box of Prvi ammo - PP .308 168 HPBT Match.

I noticed the velocity had dropped off in the same rifle. As I worked thru that box the velocity came back-up to normal. Noticed it 1/2 way thru the box. At first, I thought it was the rifle - Then noticed the velocity was coming up shooting from one side of the box to the other. So jumped to the other end and veloicty when up more. So shot another from the middle and got the lower mid velocity again. Continued to finsh the box in order - velocity continued to increase to the end.

Here's the numbers in order from left to right of the box:

2421, 2444, 2439, 2463, 2512, 2504, 2512, 2517, 2532, 2525,
2528, 2532, 2540, 2539, 2546, 2551, 2558, 2556, 2561, 2564.

Barrel length is 20".

Something was bad wrong with the quality control of this box!

I've used it in an 1895 Nagant revolver to good success. Also their 32 S&W long. Worked fine and clean up was ok for me, though I did not put many rounds through.
