Stoeger M3500
The ugly step sister of Benelli. I've used this shotgun for two seasons now. The only failure (FTE) I had was when the shotgun was brand new and not broke in yet an ounce load caused a jam. I believe the manual says don't use under 1.25 Oz loads.
My bride shoots a Benelli Montefaltro. The biggest difference I see is the Benelli has no visible machining marks as all parts appear to have been polished. This is okay with me. My Stoeger sees the bottom of duck boat, mud in a duck blind, and rain and snow during turkey season. My wife's Benelli will pheasant hunt and fun at the range.
For the price I'd buy another Stoeger M3500. It shoots 2 1/4" to 3 1/2" mags.
For anyone looking for a nice semi auto shotgun at a good price this is one to consider.
