I've been carrying this little pistol with me everywhere. Over the past several months I would occasionally buy a box of ammo for it and just take it out and run them through the TCP. Total so far has been either 250 or 300 rounds through it without a single FTF or FTE. It has performed flawlessly. I carry it loaded with Hornady Critical Defense ammo which I shot a couple mags through to be sure they fed properly due to a profile that's different than the traditional RN bullet. No hiccups with these either.
Granted the 380 auto is not the most powerful cartridge you can carry. But IMO it is enough to get me and/or my family out of trouble in a face to face confrontation - especially with multiple center of mass hits with the Critical Defense ammo.

Everyone shold look at the New Glock 42 that was just made available. Its chambered in the .380. Its a very sweet gun. I am a bigger guy but still feels great in my hand.

I'm a dinosaur. I carry my old S&W Model 60 stoked with 125 gr. +P.
You can't argue with success.

Kel-tec P40 for me.

Worst trigger Ive ever felt but that is really a non factor for my intended use.

Well I won't argue with any of you on your choice. It all boils down to whatever you're comfortable carrying. And that is the key. It will be of no use to you setting at home when you need it. There are very few places that I go where I don't carry a handgun. (I even carry in church and no one ever noticed. Especially with those looking to kill infidels! What better place than there for a mass (no pun intended) shooting?)

Picked up a new .45 ACP the other day:

I haven't shot it yet, been very busy. It is similar to a derringer in how the barrels are set. You get two more rounds in a stripper clip in the grip handle. It is not for +P or +P+. I did order a rubber grip cover for the grip handle. Not that this will take all the recoil away, but it should help some. It is not a plinker, but for defense only. Should fit nicely in the back pocket.

The videos showed it to be not bad. Like I said, have not fired mine yet. I will get back to you all when I do. but remember what i said, it is purely a defensive weapon. And I can assure everyone and anyone who has been in a situation knows they don't remember the felt recoil. Why even while hunting and pulling the trigger on game have I ever remember the felt recoil.
