I am trying to find out the history on a couple of firearms my cousin acquired from his late father. We are trying to find out when they were made and how old they may be.

Liegeoise Serial 55002
Liegeoise Serial A 17102

I think this is a French/Belgium (maybe Dutch) arms manufacturer. Shotguns ? Tried Google searching.

Liegeoise D'Armes A Feu was a Belgian company of Liege, Belgium.

I think they started making firearms in early 1800's and were a pretty big company.

You can post some more info of get a search going with the Liegeoise D'Armes A Feu name and see where that takes you.
