If I recall correctly, some of the heavier 10mm bullets are not recommended for the 40 S&W because to meet maximum COL they have to be seated so deep into the case, powder volume adversly reduced. Just a thought.

The 10mm and 40 s&w use exactly the same bullet. The 40 S&W would not be legal in our state. The 10mm would be. Check it out in your state.
