Nope... but have a Short Trac BAR in .308 with a 3-9 X Trijicon Accupoint scope. It's a keeper.

well I don't have the 750 but I do have a 7400. Friend has a 750 and it is a good shooter and reliable for an auto! My 7400 I got at a bargain. After I cleaned all the mud and gunk out of it it's been a very reliable gun! If It's that great of a bargain buy it. You can always sell it if your not satisfied and recoup your money.

If the seller will let you run a box of shells through it before the purchase, I'd do that. If it works as it should and seems to be accurate enough, go for it. As for the scope, I don't know what you mean by "short range", but I really like a peep sight in the woods. Something to think about.

I had a Mod. 7400 carbine in 30.06 Spr. that I bought used. In a state of confusion, I guess, two years ago I sold it for what seemed then to be a decent enough profit. Frankly, I did not use it much. This particular rifle shot great groups and with proper cleaning, cycled just fine. I maybe put 150 rounds through it before selling. Never had a minute's trouble. The carbine length was great for hunting from a tree stand. I regret having sold it. Mine happened to "like" Federal Premium that had been loaded using the 180 gr. Nosler Partition bullet.

I just put a Leupold VX-R in 3X9-40 on my BAR 30/06. So, I suggest taking a look at them. If you don't like it. definetly look at the Trijicons.

Both nice glass, and made in the States.

I have the 750 WM in 30-06... Shoots great... will hold right around 1" groups with a just about everything i put threw it... I shot a 4pt a few years ago with it at a little over 200 yards with a 220 gr remington round nose bullet... Took out both shoulders and deer did a face plant and pushed him self about 20 yards with his back legs...

I love mine!!! Looks good and shoots good... Pretty much what you would expect from REMINGTON!!!
