What a neat little rifle. IMO better than the Colt. Definately lighter due to its polymer lower - lighter by almost a pound. Extremely accurate and seems to be highly reliable based on the several magazines full I ran through it.
I was going to get my grandson a Cricket to shoot but the collapsible stock is the perfect length for him (he's 7). Of course he will be under constant, close supervision shooting a semiauto rifle.
Anyway back to the rifle. It is a good practice rifle with all the features of a 5.56 AR but much cheaper to shoot and keep yourself in practice. I wonder how long it will take to wear it out?

What a blast to shoot. I was out again today with this little sucker. I put a Cabela's multi reticle sight on it and removed the military style sights. I mounted the scope "up front" and got it sighted in with only a few shots. Then I commenced to have a ball with it. The little rifle was dancing tin cans out to 50 yds without a hitch. Even regularly picking off dirt clods out to 100 yds. To say I was having a lot of fun wuld be an understatement. And the price of 550 box of Federal 22LR ammo at the local Walmart is a whole lot cheaper than even my handloaded 5.56 ammo for my 'big' AR.
