mounting a bi-pod on a Ruger M-77 MkII

has anyone mouted a bi-pod on a Ruger M-77 MkII?
Is it just easier to drill the stock for a swivel stud or what?

I removed the stock and drilled a hole and installed a stud. It worked great and took less than 20 min ta do.

Your only alternative is to drill it for a swivel stud...but the stock is made of Zytel so it will take it.

i drilled a hole also. that stock is cheesey i think thats why i got rid of that gun a couple years ago. great shooter though in 7mm mag!
