After a visit to Walmart, and the price vs what was on hand in stock. Settling in on Federal 150g. $13.97 at Walmart.

Looks like you found a nice load for your rifle.

I actually just bought a pound of H4895 and some 150g Nosler Ballistic tips I was going to try and work on a load soon if time allowed.

I was going to give you a good load for H4895 and the 150 bullet
but Nosler only gives a load with IMR 4895
which is
accurate load is IMR 4895 40.5 gr for 2544 fps.
max load is 44.5 grains of IMR 4895 2802 fps.

With the federal 150gr my rifle shot 3/4" at 100 the first day out. I have since put a boyds laminate thumbhole stock on mine and it is awesome. I would not hesitate to buy another one either.
SD, have you got a pic of you xl7 with the Boyds on it?? I'm thinking about getting one as well.

Btw, good shooting Silver Wolf.

I put a Boyds on my XL7 last month and am very pleased with the fit and finish. Feels a bit more balanced now as well. Went with the Dakota rather than the Thumbhole.
