cricket 22
How is the trigger on these 22's? How many pounds of pull?

I think that's how it got its model number!?! Really, I'm not sure. But I was thinking about getting one of these for my grandson in black and a pink one of my granddaughter.

I am really not sure on the trigger but I know they are pretty good guns. A guy I know bought his son one a while back. One day we were walking through a pasture and had to cross a little crick, the first time across, the kid almost dropped his gun in the mud so his dad to be more careful next time. When we went back across, the kid, rather than risk dropping it, threw it end over end over the mud. I thought his dad was going to blow a gasket. The gun still shot fine after that.

I'd say mine is about 5 pounds. Problem isn't the trigger weight but the trigger weight and the extreme light weight of the overall gun. Even if the thing had a 3 lb trigger it can still affect a gun that weighs only 3.5 lbs. I filled the empty butt of the stock with rice and some putty epoxy in the forearm. Now the gun has a little heft and the kids shoot better offhand as it doesn't jump around so much from slight movement or the trigger force. Hope it helps.
