How does your 7600 shoot?

what caliber and how accurate would you say your remington 7600 is? Also in your opinion what is the most accurate caliber you can get in the 7600.
Thanks for all your input.

all the ones i have and have had shoot like a dream. there will be horror stories about them all from some ppl and some ppl like me have had nothin but good luck. as far as accuracy all the chamberings of the 7600 are pretty equally accurate. maybe you confusing accuracy w/ trajectory????

no just figured maybe a .308 would group a little better than the 30-06

doubt it. your question is pretty broad. lots of veriables that come into play. any of the chamberings will shoot better then your ability any way you slice it. pick one and get out there and kill somethin

my question was is a .308 more accurate than a 30-06 so maybe your the one thats broad

Love my 7600 in 270 and its capabilities. Bought it after season last year so this year it will see some hunting time. Trigger modified to 3.2# with 1.5" taken off the stock with a Sims pad added on the end.

So far I have owned .308, 3006 and .270win in a 760 or 7600. All were pretty much the same with factory ammo honest 1.5-2" groups. My 270 win with handloads will do 1" with a couple of pet loads. Neither the 308 or 3006 ever saw handloads.

A friend picked up a light used one in a 35 whelan, his choice of factory load locally produced 2.5" groups on average. Worked up a partition load for him that betters this by more then 1". He's ave. between 1.25 and 1.5" with that load and is tickled. The moose he shoot last week not as thrilled!!

actually nho it wasnt. your question was

"whats the most accurate caliber you can get in the 7600?"

you could hvae a half dozen 30-06's a half dozen 308's a half dozen 270's and have ihalf of them be much better shooters from the factory then the other half regaurdless of caliber. thats the point i was trying to make you understand.
