Shotgun Help Needed

Hey guys! I need some help. I am going to buy a Mossberg 500. Is it true that the two beads on the barrel have to line up in a figure eight and if it doesn' t then it has too much drop at the heel? Can I have it taken up after I buy it and how much would it cost?

I am not quite sure, but I believe the Mossberg company sells what you want. I know they do for my Mossberg 835 Ulti Mag. Hope this helps.
