Anybody want a new, great 1911 that's a notch above production type guns? I'm not talking about a 3K+ Volkmann or Ed Brown either. Bob Serva used to be in charge at Dan Wesson (which is now a CZ company). Anyway, Bob left a couple of years ago and started Fusion Firearms. They make some S W E E T guns at a price point well below Nighthawk, Brown, Wilson, etc. I've got one on order that's only a little bit more $ than a Kimber (Raptor series) and I was able to make it the way I wanted it...basically semi-custom. Check out their website and on 1911 forums. You will be impressed.

Nice guns,but the price is not a great deal less than my Wilson after the options are chosen.

Stubble, I'm not sure what you were considering, but I can tell you that The Wilson I spec'd out was right at $2900 whereas the Fusion I ordered was about $1675...FWIW.
