Springfield Armory XD
 

Does anyone own the new Springfield Armory XD in 9mm or 40 S&W and if so, how satisfied are you with the accuracy, trigger, and overall performance of this handgun.

I have one and I would highly recomend it. I have the .40 and its a great gun. It is as accurate as I am and its is fun to shoot. I carry mine as well. I have shot a few Glocks and some 1911' s and like this better. I have even been shooting it better than my 686 357 of late.

The trigger is smooth and the take up is not bad. I also like the safety features. The loaded chamber indicator and firing pin indicator are great. I have never had a FTF with it, I did have 2 FTE on the first 50 rounds, but none since and attribute that to break-in.

I spend alot of time on a couple of other boards and the reviews are all similar.

The best quote I' ve seen was " It' s not a Glock wanna be, It' s what Glock WANTS to be!"

I have yet to see a used on at any shops or gun shows. That in itself is a big selling point.
