savage model 10 .204 ruger

I traded a sigma 9mm nib for a savage 10 in .204 ruger. It has the accutrigger, but it has a light 22" barrel. Odd barrel for the cartridge to me. It shoots good though. I shot sub nickel size group with factory 40 gr ammo off the 4 wheeler rack in a 20+ mph wind. I think it has the potential to be a 1/2 moa gun with the right scope and load.

No telling how it would shoot from a steady rest.

Sounds like it's ready to go to me.

Sub nickel is certainly in the kill zone all ready.

Put it to good use......Hunt'em up !

I use the Savage 16FCSS in .204 and get similar results with factory Hornady 40 gr. V-max.

Works for me !!!

I don't even know what I need it for. It was just a orphan that needed a new home.

Sounds like a good trade to me.

I am not at all a fan of the S&W Sigma. Sounds like a good trade to me if the rifle was in good condition.

It's a good trade and I'm not a fan of Savage rifles, but if you would like to get rid of your abortion I would be interested? e-mail me at [email protected] I like the 204 round for various reasons. I will say I'd rather have a Ruger 77 or # 1 in that caliber though???
I have a 243 that is a tack driver in a 80 PPT and 100gr BT bullets? Im not sure a 204 would be any better except for noise and recoil if any? Other than that, it would be another excuss to buy another rifle and dies and loadingcomponents and so forth???>
